  If I want to change my domain name later, how do I go about doing this?

  You can’t “edit” it in the strict sense of the word. You can only change it, which means you register a brand new domain.

  The link @sfarley85 gave is to register a custom domain, e.g. arannanpage.com instead of arannanpage.wordpress.com. That is a paid upgrade. In that case the free address doesn’t change while the custom domain is only placed over it. You can read more at the link above.

  The other option is to change your address to a different free address. This will move your content, followers, settings and stats to a completely new address, leaving the old address empty or deleted, depending on your choices during the change.
