how do i edit my title?

the word “for” appears under the title of my blog and won’t delete

You can change the Tagline in your Dashboard at ‘Settings’ -> ‘General’. Fill in your title in the form that says: ‘Tagline’ and save your settings by clicking the blue button that says ‘Save Changes’ at the bottom of the page.
