How do I remove the default widgets from my blog?

  How do I edit the “Bookmarks” “Categories” “Archives” and “Meta” tabs off of my page?

  You can remove the default widgets from your blog by dragging in a blank Text Widget to your sidebar. You can access the widgets on the Appearance > Widgets page from your blog’s Dashboard.
