How do I edit the "Home" page of my site?

  I thought that I had erased the page when I started. I followed what was written for the instructions. However, now that page still shows up on my site with showing the phrase “sorry what you are looking for isn’t here. Is there anyway to get rid of this? If you look at the site you will see what I mean :-)

  That’s showing because you don’t have any published posts.

  All you need to do is publish a post, or assign a new front page from Settings -> Reading in your Dashboard.
