How do I edit the separate page for where my blogs go?

When I removed the unwanted links from my website’s home page, and click on my blog link, on that page at the very bottom there is a link to the pre-made previous articles that can still be accessed, yet takes the viewer to a broken link. Is there any way to edit the whole page so that link at the bottom is no longer there, so others won’t think it’s another article/blog post I wrote and click on it. Then I get a bunch of people telling me ‘you have a broken link’ only to know and repeatedly telling them I am working on it.

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Bumping this as it’s been an hour and staff/other users have commented on other posts made before and after mine while I’m still trying to figure out how to work and operate my first-ever blogging website.

Been yet another hour and still zero support, Google came up useless, and my post is now on page 2 where no one will see it. So another bump is needed. I’m also tempted to reply to a recent staff comment as they too commented on other forums looking for support around the same time I posted mine, and someone else did theirs.

How do I edit the page where my full blog post is? There is an unwanted link to something I deleted off the homepage and yet DID NOT remove itself as a link on any other page, and I do NOT know how to manually remove it!!! I am only able to edit the blog post and no other aspects on the blog page.

So I asked for help over 3 hours ago and see staff answering questions from both before and after my post. I STILL need help.

I have my site set up, so when u click the title of the blog post, it will take you to the full blog. Only thing is, when in viewing mode at the bottom I can see a link to another article I removed from the homepage, and when I click it, get an error saying “Oops! Looks like this page has been removed!”

I don’t need others mistakenly thinking that’s another blog post of mine, click it and get the same error, but I have yet to find a solution as to how to REMOVE IT FULLY like I can with unwanted spacers and groups on my homepage.

Google and Reddit have no results or results from 2015 (which I’m sure WordPress has updated since then, so layouts and icons wouldn’t be in the same places) so this is the ONLY PLACE I can get help in.

Thought support was supposed to help everyone. Not ignore those who have been needing help for HOURS and can only sit back and WATCH others with their needs of support for NON-RELATED WP issues get replied to!!

    Hi there:

I’d like to remind you of our community standards and best practices to get help here on the WordPress.com forums where both Staff and volunteers respond to messages. We only ask that you be respectful and patient while we try to help everyone.

By “bumping” your thread, you’ve made it appear that someone has already replied to it, so it was likely skipped by our many volunteers. Also, if you need Staff to help, tagging your thread modlook will get your thread viewed by one of us when we triage those issues and that is how I got to your thread now. I’ve also merged your two threads into this one and will reply here.

I’ve been looking at your homepage at survivorswithavoice.wordpress.com and it’s not evident where the issue is that you’re seeing. If you still have this problem, please take a screenshot or two of the problem in question. If you’re not familiar with how to take a screenshot, this support document will help explain how to make one:

    Take a Screenshot

Then, use a service like Snipboard.io to upload the screenshot and then share the image link from that service here and we’ll take a closer look.

    Thanks!

This issue is when you click on my welcome blog link and scroll to the very bottom where it says “Episode 3: A Cycle of Emotions”. I WANT THAT GONE. I NEVER ONCE STATED the issue was on MY HOMEPAGE. I said I was ONLY ABLE TO edit my homepage and no other pages.

Also, this is my first time using WordPress and no one has told me what tags to use to get the help I need faster. Yet I have seen other helpful members letting others know about the modlook tag and has even nicely done it for them.

As you can see when I hover over it, there is a link there to click on, and I don’t need others to click on it and tell me over and over again its broken, when I am trying to fix it and unable to do so.

  • Hi there,

Were you able to remove the link successfully?

I am not seeing the link when I visit the welcome page on my end:
