How do I eliminate the Title Header Section/Space entirely?

  • Unknown's avatar

I am wanting to eliminate entirely the title section above my custom header section. I’ve deleted the words in the title & tagline, but the large space is still visible. Is there a way to delete this large, empty section so my custom header is at the top only?

    Thanks

    Hi there,

I’m afraid the title space is part of the layout for the Chunk theme and users are unable to remove that space, only the text.

As an alternative, you may be interested in using our Custom Design upgrade to modify your site’s header:

I have purchased the custom design option–is the “upgrade” another form of purchase beyond the custom design option? If I am able to edit the large space out of the design with the custom design option I’ve already purchased, how would I do so? Where in the style sheet do I edit, I could not find how to make it work.

    thanks–

The Custom Design option and upgrade are, indeed, the same. You can edit your site’s CSS by going to your Dashboard -> Appearance -> Custom Design -> Edit CSS.

For assistance with writing CSS and modifying your theme, please visit the CSS Customization Support forum here or keep an eye out for a chat option that may appear at the bottom of the screen when on your Edit CSS page.

Yes, I know how to edit the style sheet, I suppose I wasn’t sure which section within the style sheet would need to be eliminated to take out the extra space (I am still learning CSS). I will try to find out through the forum, but if you have any suggestions that could be of help, too let me know. thanks!
