How do I embed a button from a blogroll site which is in html code?
-
I have the html code for a button which I’d like to add on the sidebar below my links. In blogger.com I could add it directly as html when editing the layout page in html. I don’t know how to edit in html in wordpress. Can you help? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It very much depends on the button. Is it a button linking to another blog? Try pasting it into a text widget and see if it works. If not, paste the code in a reply between code tags (click the code button above the text box, paste the code, and click the code button again) and we’ll tell you whether you can edit that code to work on WP.com.
If it’s a button linking to, for example, a bookings website, or an online shopping cart, etc., those usually use Javascript which is not allowed here. See this support doc for creating your own button in that case: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/create-your-own-widget/
