How do I embed a cartoon into my WordPress.com post?

I would like to embed one or more cartoon images into my WordPress.com blog. This is the embed code for the image provided by the cartoonist’s website. I was unable to successfully embed the code in my draft post. Help?

You want to insert an image from an URL: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/#from-url
You were trying to copy the code which tends not to work for many application here – you will need to sift through their code for the relevant info. Please note that iframe code is not permitted here for security reasons.
