How do I embed Instagram onto my page?
-
Trying to embed instagram on to my page. It is kind of working after following http://en.support.wordpress.com/instagram/instagram-images/ but doing the exact same codes as mentioned and I arrive at a different result. I would like to achieve the same result as shown in the last example.
This is the embed code I am using:
[instagram url=http://instagram.com/p/mdqlKWiLK0/ width= 150][instagram url=http://instagram.com/p/nnEZusiLOr/ width= 150][instagram url=http://instagram.com/p/oKB1FNiLP9/ width= 150]and this is the result of the code:
http://audreynom.wordpress.com/monday-morning-mo/Support is appreciated, as if this is always the case then I find the particular support page misleading.

Yes, I tested the shortcode as the instructions provide, and it does not work. It seems that there is a conflict between WP.com’s https: and Instagram’s http: (non-secure) loading of embed in Chrome.
Here is the error I’m receiving from Chrome 35.0.1916.114 on Mac:
[blocked] The page at ‘https://colorfultones.wordpress.com/2014/05/19/bibendum-nullam-vestibulum-parturient/’ was loaded over HTTPS, but ran insecure content from ‘http://instagram.com/p/nnEZusiLOr/embed/’: this content should also be loaded over HTTPS.
I tried doing a protocol-less embed too and that did not fix, like so:
[instagram url=//instagram.com/p/mdqlKWiLK0/ width=150]
I’m tagging this for staff to look at, as there may be something I’m missing.

It seems to work fine now. If you don’t see it yet, then send me a screenshot, so I can better understand the issue. You can simply upload the screenshot to your Media Library, like any other image, and I’ll be able to access it from there.
The page at the following link has some helpful tips for taking screenshots:

Hi! Yes, I’ve uploaded the screenshots now, I’ve refreshed the code and it still looks like this.
-
I’ve just contacted our developers to take a closer look at this issue. I’ll contact you once I know more.

Our developers took a look and saw that Instagram made some changes on their end that causes the embed to look that narrow. For now I recommend to remove the width=150 part from the shortcode.
In the meantime we will work together with them to resolve issues like these.
Thank you.
