How do i embed links to other urls to my site

    New to this, cant find how to link other web addresses to my site, also struggling with adding media, music and videos etc, i am on free version do i need to upgrade

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

    Congratulations on getting started with WordPress! It’s the best! I wouldn’t recommend upgrading until you get familiar with the free version. There’s a lot you can do with the free version and once you get adjusted to that you’ll better understand the value of premium. Then upgrading is a great value! Just don’t expect upgrading to fix some of the challenge of adjusting to the interface.

    Here are some things to play around with regarding links:

    1. Try writing a few practice posts and pages with links in them. You can add links to pages and posts by clicking on the little chain icon just above the text box in the editor (below the title).

    2. You can also add links to other websites or specific pages on your site by including them in a custom menu. Custom menus can be created under “Appearance” –> “Menus”

    3. To get started with media I recommend you work through this list of articles: https://learn.wordpress.com/

    Don’t get frustrated! Like anything new you can feel a bit lost at first but it’s really rewarding to learn WordPress!
