How do I enable my Twitter button to just be a Tweet button?

I can’t find the little arrow that is shown in support that says after I enable this sharing of twitter or facebook, to be able to just “like this” or “tweet” on each blog post. I have been able to link facebook and twitter, whatever that means, but I can’t share my blogs on to my twitter easily, just by pressing “tweet”
Can you help with that?

Linking to Facebook and Twitter typically refers to enabling our Publicize feature.
Publicize allows you to create a connection between your WordPress.com account and your accounts on other social media sites, such as Facebook or Twitter. Upon publishing a new post, it will automatically be shared on your Facebook and Twitter accounts:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/To add buttons to the bottom of your posts and/or pages so that visitors to your site can easily share your content via Twitter or Facebook is possible via your Dashboard > Settings > Sharing. From what I can see, you have Facebook and Twitter available in your list of Share buttons:
