How do I enable "show summary" instead of full text?

Under “Settings, –> Reading,” I have checked off the option of displaying a “Summary” of my post on the main page instead of “Full Text”; however, my posts continue to display as full text instead of summaries, no matter how many times I click the Summary setting and then hit save. I have seen other bloggers using the Adelle theme, and they have summaries enabled.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

That’s the same theme that I use for my site. I had to use the More tag to display the summary on each post.

See instructions to do that here:

    Hope that helps!

This only changes the content of the RSS feed — not the actual setting for your web site.

Honeysilva’s solution is a perfect workaround/feature for this.
