How do I enable the viewer to return to other image galleries in my photo-blog?

When viewing an image gallery, I cannot return to main menu. The small “X” in the upper left corner of the gallery does not activate this action.
I want my images to be viewed at the direction of the viewer, ie, the viewer click forward/backward to advance or return image views. When the viewer has finished looking at the images, there needs to be a way to return the the gallery menu so additional galleries may be viewed. How do I achieve this?

Hey Don,
There are two ways for the viewer to exit a gallery slideshow.
- They can click the small “x” in the upper left-hand corner like you mention. This directs them back to the page they were on before they clicked into the gallery. So, for example, if they click into a gallery from your homepage, they would be directed back to the homepage upon exiting the gallery. If instead, they clicked into the gallery from an individual post like this one:

They would be directed back to the individual post. This functionality (where the viewer is directed when they click the “x” is unable to be changed.
- They can click anywhere on the screen outside of the image or arrow buttons and the gallery will be stopped. They’ll exit back onto the same page that they entered from (just like above).

I understand how things are supposed to work. My question had to do with things not working as they should.
When I clicked on the “x” – Nothing happened.
However, today all seems to be working as it should. Bit of a mystery to me why it stopped working – but as long as it continues as it should, i”m happy.
