How do I enable youtube autoplay on a wordpress blog?
-
I read in the support page that I can edit a number of features of a youtube video before uploading my post. However, I seem to be unable to identify how to enable the autoplay command.
I have tried embedding the “autoplay=1” command in the video URL, but that doesn’t work. Can you please advise?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there!
We don’t allow the autoplay of YouTube videos on WordPress.com sites. This tends to lower the visitors’ experience when browsing websites…also, autoplay isn’t accessibility-friendly, so it isn’t a possible setting for your video embed.
I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!

Ok, even though I disagree with your company policy I guess I have no other option than comply with them.
The last question I have is:
if I were to upgrade my membership to premium, would I be able to upload a video and set this to autoplay? -
Hey there!
A Premium will not allow for autoplay of video either.
If this is very important to you, you may consider switching your hosting from WordPress.com to a self-hosted WordPress.org site. If you’re not aware of the differences between the two types of WordPress hosting, this may help:
