How do I export a media library. And then how do I import it?

    I am 90% sure I’m making the move from my self-hosted site to a wordpress.com hosted site… I’ve exported and imported my posts and pages, but I noticed that no media (images/audio) were included in the XML files… I think this wasn’t the case in earlier wordpress versions.

    So, how do I do it now? Hope I don’t have to do it manually. But if so, I can… but can I at least EXPORT in bulk from the old site?

    To move your site from a WordPress.org site to WordPress.com, please make sure that you’ve followed the instructions in this guide:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-from-wordpress-org

    Notice item #3 specifically, as it focuses on Media. Make certain you have completed that step.
