How do I export a media file so I can import it into another wordpress blog? Thanks!

You can do an export of your entire site by following the instructions right here:
Once you have that XML file, you can import it to your new WordPress site using the instructions right here:
That import process pulls all of your media files over and puts them in the correct places automatically.
