How do I finally access wp-admin

    Hi,

    I’m actually doing our first website.
    I’ve already buy our domain on gandi.net.
    Our theme on envato.
    When I’m clicking ‘my site’ on WordPress I finally arrive to a screen that say I must pay 4$ a month… I tought that wp was free ?
    I’ve already done a website before and I’d like to know if I must pay to access wp-admin space.

    I hope my explication was clear cause my english is not so good (I’m french).

    Hi there!

    First of all, leat’s clear up any further confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.

    We, WordPress.com are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites. We do offer free plan but you’ll only be able to use our subdomain with that.

    WordPress.org is a stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.

    So, since you already purchased a domain and theme you’ll either want to find a host and create your site on WordPress.org or purchase our plan Business.
