How do I find a blog on wordpress without exact name

  This is driving me bonkers! I’m trying to find a friend’s blog without the actual WordPress domain name. But when i go to ‘search for friends’ all I get is an invitation to find friends on Twitter and Facebook or in Google Mail. Why can I not just search on the people’s name to find the blog? Am I doing something wrong?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Please confirm that you are attempting to find your friends here:
  https://wordpress.com/me/find-friends

  If this is the case, this feature is designed to search your Facebook, Twitter, and Google + accounts to see if you have friends/connections on those sites that are also WordPress.com users.

  This is not a general search of WordPress.com blogs

  Why can I not just search on the people’s name to find the blog? Am I doing something wrong?

  It sounds as if you’d be better off searching Google for your friends’ blogs. If they are writing under their own names, rather than their WordPress.com usernames, they should be findable via search engine.
