How do I find if I still own url?

    I used to have a blog domain but deleted it a year ago. I checked and the website domain is still owned but there’s no website attached to it. How do I find out if I still own this domain? It’s not clear in My Profile or My Account.

    Hi there,

    You used to own that domain with us, but it looks like you cancelled it on 23 June last year.

    Since then the domain was removed from our system, deleted at the registry, and released for registration, and it looks like someone else subsequently registered it – that domain is now registered through Dropcatch.com, so we don’t have any control over it any more.

    If you still want this domain you can try contacting Dropcatch.com to find out if the current owner might be able to sell it back to you, but unfortunately we’re not able to help with that process.

    The WordPress.com site that was connected to the domain, kristinnilsen.wordpress.com, you deleted on the same day that you cancelled the domain. The content for that site has since been purged from our servers, and it’s no longer possible to restore that site.
