how do I find my IP address

    I have a domain name lets say xxx.com.au and want to link my xxx.wordpress.com site to that domain name but not as a blog. Alternatively do I need to upgrade from the free wordpress to be able to do this. Ultimately I want people to go to the wordpress site when they log on. the people I have my domain name registered with say they need my IP address. Thankss
