How do I find new wordpress posts (tags and Freshly Pressed aren't cutting it)?

I’ve been trying to find a good way to randomize what I’m seeing. I love reading art and travel blogs, but the tags seem to be almost useless–when only ten posts are loading at a time, it’s hard to scroll and scroll and scroll and scroll until I find something that really interests me.
How are you all doing it?

You can access Topics here > http://wordpress.com/#!/read/topics/
You can use wordpress.com search to do topic searches > http://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpresscom-search/
You can use Google as well simply replace the keyword below with any keyword in the search string:
keyword site:wordpress.com -
thanks… I’ll give that a try. I’ve tried it by topic and using search, still doesn’t completely solve the problem but I will manage.

If the topic you want to see has more than one word, use “-” between words.
