How do I find old spam comments?

    I noticed a message that says 37 comments have been marked as spam by askimet. I was able to retrieve one comment, and realized that it wasn’t spam. Can I retrieve the other 36? Also, is there a way to turn off askimet and moderate the comments myself?

    HI there,

    It looks like the Spam has been deleted from your account. Please note that Akismet will maintain comments it has caught for 30 days from the time they were received, and then it will delete the comment automatically.

    You wouldn’t be able to turn off Akismet, but you can moderate the comments as seen in this support guide:

    Akismet is a learning engine so the more you mark correct spam as spam and unmark incorrect spam, the more precise it will be.
