how do I find out about the real costs when I buy an upgrade? how do I know about the exchange rate

Hi there,
Our checkout process attempts to offer all payments in your local currency based on your credit card’s country of origin.
The prices for each product are already set for each currency we support, not dynamically priced via an exchange rate.
For example, the Premium plan is $99 (U.S. Dollars), or €80 (Euros.)
WordPress.com does not charge any transaction fees for a different currencies, although paying in a foreign currency may create fee from your bank.
Please let me know if you hit any snags with purchases.

Thank you for the answer Alex. All the Information about upgrades I can see are in English and $Nothing about €…… well, so I go and ask my bank about a fee if paying to the U.S.. hope there is non so I can afford the update…..

Hi Chris,
Right, you’ll be quoted upgrades in terms of USD until WordPress knows to show you another currency, like Euro. It’ll see switch once you go through a couple steps.
If you begin the checkout for the product you need, eventually you’ll get to the step where you enter a credit card. It looks like this:
Where it says “United States” select your country. Nothing will happen initially, but once you enter your credit card number you’ll get a notification similar to this:
Then the transaction will switch to Euros, and you will see Euros quoted in the Store going forward.
