How Do I Find Out How Wide a Page Is?
-
I’m making some graphics for some of the pages on my blog and I’m trying to find out how many pixels wide the pic should be to fill the width of the page. Does anyone know how I can do that?
The theme Im using is Vigilance.
THANK YOU!

In general, you can upload an image exceeding the maximum the uploader allows for any theme (that would be over 1024 px), see what number you get in the “Full-size” option, and preview to see if it needs any adjustment. Since I’ve already done that, for Vigilance it’s 600.
There’s a FAQ on this:
But it doesn’t cover all themes, and many of the numbers given are wrong.
And please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here, or link your nickname to your blog (as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know Before Posting). We usually need that to give a relevant answer.

If there are margins, indents, and useless code around the image, then its maximum size will be affected as well. -
