How do I find out what I paid for in terms of accounts?
-
I have created a site called OvationsTalent.com. All is fine. I am now working on another site called evolveyogany.wordpress.com. On OvationsTalent I am able to customize and add themes. On the latter I am not. I don’t recall what I used when creating the Ovations site so I don’t know what I need to upgrade to for the second site. Can someone please help?

Just a general question as well – I stumbled upon the link to create a question in the forums. But if I am on the support page and look at the forums and do not see an answer I need, how do I go about creating a comment/request?

Hi there,
Your site at OvationsTalent.com is running the self-hosted version of WordPress, which is available at http://WordPress.org.
However, your new site at evolveyogany.wordpress.com ( evolve-hot-yoga.com ) is hosted here at WordPress.com.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.
http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/It’s not possible to edit themes here at WordPress.com, but you can choose a new theme in our showcase:
And use the Custom Design upgrade to customize any theme further:

Oh – thanks for the information. I guess I didn’t realize what was where. So if I get a new template and pay for it, is it a one-time fee or does it need to be renewed each year? Using the custom design, do I have the ability to redesign the template like I could do in wordpress.org? At this stage I am uncertain as to which design will work best for my customer and I don’t want to pay for a new template each time.
Also, if we wanted, can we cancel the hosting on this site and get one on the other site?

Premium Themes are one-time charges. There is no need to renew.
You won’t be able to modify theme template files here, like you could with WordPress.org, but you can modify the CSS and fonts with a Custom Design upgrade: http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/
If you’d like to cancel your blog here, you can delete it via Tools -> Delete Site in your blog’s Dashboard.

I am trying to delete my blog and get a refund but when I select Delete Site I get this message:
Warning! You cannot delete a blog if the blog has a domain registration upgrade. You must have access to the blog in order to get to the domain manager.
If you do not want to use your blog any more please make it private. Other users won’t be able to visit the blog but you can still access the Dashboard so you can get to the domain manager.
How can I delete this and get a refund? The customer is not interested in it and wants to use wordpress.org. Thanks in advance.

Your bundle included a domain registration.
Unfortunately, we can only refund the domain registration portion within 48 hours.
If you’d like, I can cancel and refund the rest of the bundle for $74.
As for the domain, if we cancel the domain, it can take up to several weeks, and we can’t guarantee that your domain will be available to you again once canceled.
If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it.
Instead, you can move the domain another site, using the Domain Administration tool under Store > Domains, at the bottom of the page.

I would appreciate if you could cancel and refund me the $74. Thanks again. The customer has a bunch of domains already. I didn’t know that and created another one.
Please let me know when this has taken place so I can check my account information. Appreciate it.
-
I have canceled and refunded your bundle minus the domain as requested.
Please let us know if you need any further assistance!
