How do I find the OLD EDITOR

Erm- the fact that we can no longer do that?!

designsimply I will get back to you after “trying” to post another update, probably in a day or so. All I know is that after three years of not having trouble putting up a post I have all kinds of annoying problems thanks to your “supposedly” new and improved editor. I also had trouble inserting media. My last update was void of any because of that.
Why, whenever you decide to throw these changes out there, can’t allow users to decide on whether or not it’s something they want to use?

@edwardianpiano, you should be able to paste image URLs that end in .jpg, .gif, or .png onto their own lined and they should embed automatically. Same goes for video. The only requirement is that the video service is supported (most major ones are). If you’re still having trouble, can you let me know some example links so I can help test?

Okay just posted another blurb and I still find the new editor a pain. I do not like having the publish tab so close to the save tab, and I had trouble inserting photos (media).
Once you insert a photo, and later want to edit it (add border in my case), that option is not there. I had to go back to my website and start the edit process all over again in order to do it.
I just want to use the old editor as it used to be….please?

Thank you for the extra info about image editing noting that adding borders is the part you’re missing the most.
In your case, you may want to stick to the older editor for now, but I also am glad you posted your feedback here so I could make a note of it. To reach the old editor, you must type in wp-admin at the end of your home page URL or use the links below and then click on the items in the left menu (not the top toolbar) to stay in the WP Admin editor.

Thanks. I made an excellent decision when I was in college and it was that I wasn’t going to marry. I made that decision because I had cancer and knew that after surgery I could not have kids. (Truth be told I didn’t want any.) He was from a large family and was an older kid too and his response to no kids was Alleluia! because he had had enough parenting gained from raising his siblings. I felt exactly the same way. After a year and a half I married him and we have been happy together for 40 years. It amazes me that so much time has slipped away, and I’m so grateful the the grim reaper, who has tried to harvest my life 3 times has failed to do so. :) -
