How do I fix a redirect loop error?

    When I change the primary domain, it results in a “redirect loop” error. I have two domains mapped to mysite.wordpress.com and mysite.com to be the primary domain.

    I’ve changed the DNS settings to the WordPress servers.

    Can anyone suggest any troubleshooting steps or a solution?

    It self-corrected. Apparently I just didn’t give it enough time to update on the WordPress end. I also needed to give it time to update at the domain registrar. (It has been about 24 hours on that.)

    For future reference, may be helpful to have someone add some troubleshooting steps.

    Hi there,

    I’m glad the issue was resolved for you! It can take up to 72 hours for domain changes to take full effect. If you ever experience trouble viewing your website at your domain, you may be able to resolve it by clearing your browser’s cache.
