How do I fix the MX error on my GoDaddy email that's linked to my WP blog?
-
I bought a Domain name with GoDaddy that is mapped to my wordpress blog.
I then bought an email address for that domain name but found it had an MX error.
I’ve called GoDaddy and taken advice to change my DNS on WordPress as described on this WP support page: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/add-godaddy-email/ But even after tweaking once or twice and waiting the allotted 48hrs+ each time, I’ve still had no luck.
I don’t know what to try next as I can’t find anymore help on the topic online and as far as I can tell it’s a wordpress problem not a GoDaddy problem since my website is hosted here. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Your DNS records for your email look exactly correct to me. Your email host is GoDaddy Europe, correct?
If so, it can sometimes take awhile for your email to start working once you’ve made these changes. Is it working for you today?

Hello,
Yes, I believe I’m with GoDaddy Europe as I’m from the UK. And unfortunately no, it’s still not working today.

Hi there,
In that case, can you please check with GoDaddy? Those are the correct records for GoDaddy Europe hosted mail, and you’ve entered them correctly. I’m not sure why this isn’t working for you.
Please provide them with what you’ve entered and ask them if those are the full and correct records you need to enter on our end for your email to work while your domain is pointed to WordPress.com.

Hi,
So I rang GoDaddy today and it turns out it was just a glitch that they corrected in no time.
Everything on WordPress was correct as you said so thanks for you help.
