    Hi!
and help! I suspect I’ve done something fairly serious to a blog I am supposed to maintain.

I had successfully uploaded and configured it some days ago, activated the akismet plug-in, the almodaver -07 theme with colors modified, and started a feedback plugin. The last was less then successful. When I was looking through options in the dash board, it appeared as though the wordpress directory setups were in error and I “corrected” them which in hindsight was obvously NOT correct because that is when the problem started. The system immediately started passing me back to the unformatted blog main page and wouldn’t go to any of the other dashboard pages. After resetting the directories to what I thought was the correct settings I am basically in the situation I just described above. Further it seems that if try to access any other page directly through my browser, I get redirected to the blog page again.

Any help short hand grenades is appreciated

    tj

OOPS! You seem to be in the wrong place. WordPress.com is a MU (multi-user) blogging platform. We run on a different code base than the version you can download from http://wordpress.org and you will get different answers to your questions here. The forum for self hosted and web hosted wordpress blogs is located over here http://wordpress.org/support You may want to take a few moments and read this description about the different versions of WordPress software posted in a pink “read me first” sticky at the head of this forum. Happy blogging! :)
