How do I follow a bog that I inadvertently unsuscribed from?
-
How do I reverse from unsubscribe to subscribe to a blog? I used the “Bulk Action” button to unsubscribe from a site (listed many times) and did not realize that several of the other sites I subscribe to were mentioned. Then I attempted to subscribe to them after having their status change to “unsubscribed”. This deleted the blog from the list. That is unsatisfactory since I don’t remember the blog name. Also, there is no way to subscribe to another site I didn’t mean to unsubscribe from (on the same site); I assume I must go the the site to subscribe anew to it. Please advise. Thank you.

Thank you, TimeThief. I assumed as much. However, one important bit of information you neglected to focus one is that I don’t remember the name or site or host of the site. It “disappeared” after “unsubscribing” to it and so I did not continue taking the same action on those sites that remained but were not responses the same thread. Nevertheless, thank you for your prompt attention and response to my “problem”.

We cannot help you with that sorry.

Hi, TimeThief. Yes. I think the website designer for management of subscriptions should rethink the site. I am not requesting an “Undo” button but the “bulk action” button requires more care and caution when using it to globally unsubscribe from threads, whether they are unrelated or not. I didn’t intend to unsubscribe when I activated this hyperlink. I wanted to determine what actions were available after having used the “bulk action” button to unsubscribe from a blog. Thanks anyway for your kind attention.

It looks like you’ve only unsubscribed from two sites in the past three months:

Is one of those what you’re looking for?

Dear Ms. Roberts/WordPress.com Rep.:
Thank you for demonstrating a concern for my issue. I gave up hope that there would be further follow-up. My issue really concerned finding a response I had made to a post that needed correcting; but I could not locate it so that it stands as is.
With regard to your question about my posted concern the answer is the second hyperlink. I didn’t mean to unsubscribe but it is not important enough. Now that you have shown how well you can track activity, I am unconcerned about making such a mistake again. I very likely will unsubscribe from all other forums (blogs) other than use of my own. This does not support a belief that I do not feel they are without value it only means that I do not want regular notices from either or all sites that I previously subscribed to.
Again, MANY THANKS for you kind attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Bill

Of course! I’m happy to help! If you’d like to keep these sites available in your Reader, but not receive email updates from them, you can update your email preferences per-site here:

Hi, Shawn.
Thanks again. I have customized my settings and believe they are currently satisfactory. Many changes to my favorite sites have occurred recently so links to my settings (in your e-mail) are useful. Thank you very much!
Sincerely,
