  I literally can’t find any of the follow buttons. I looked up how to do it online and it was no help.

  You can add the URL of any site here https://wordpress.com/following/manage and follow them in the WordPress.COM Reader.

  You can also follow tags like this https://wordpress.com/tags/travel
  Just change the last word to one relevant for your interest.

  You can search for blogs to follow at https://wordpress.com/read/search
