How do I get a custom menu to display?
-
I switched to the Twenty Eleven theme because it’s supposed to support Custom Menus.
I’m trying to create a drop-down menu from a “prayer” tab in a custom menu, but I just get the message :”The slug “prayer” is already in use by another term.
And what am I supposed to do with the “custom link” feature?
I wanted a second drop down menu under an “about” tab, and I got the message that “About menu was updated,” but I don’t see it displayed anywhere. Do I need to do something with screen options?
The Support information on Custom Menus has not been helpful. I am electronically challenged. There may be a simple solution to my problem, but I need help to find it.

justpi: thank you so much for that. I was having the same problems as melaniefyock and the other information I read was not helping (too much unnecessary info was confusing me!), but that link had exactly what I was looking for.

I was frustrated and confused at the time. I found what I was looking for in the end though.

After you insinuated that I have a comprehension problem. As I said, thank you for your time.

You did have a comnprehension problem and it’s good to know that you finally overcame it.

She accused me of being condescending in the other thread. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/adding-posts-to-pages-in-triton-lite?replies=15#post-936373 -
After you told her “the comprehension problem is on your end of things”, which was quite unnecessary.
