How do I get a sidebar to appear on my homepage?

    I want to add a sidebar to my home page – but when I go into the pages section to change the attributes only my about me page shows up.

    Also – on my homepage the most recent blogs I post do not show up. Is there a setting to change this?

    reveals it is not designed to have a sidebar on the front page or on single posts on their own pages.

    Widgets
    Blissful Blog offers a sidebar template on single page, archive, and search views, and three footer widget areas on any page. You can assign widgets to each of these areas by going to Appearance -> Widgets.
