How do I get a static HOME page?

  I cannot get my home page set properly. I tried to follow the instructions but I created a second HOME and cannot get it to replace the default HOME??? anyone have an idea? I want a static page, not posts on the home page.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Go to appearence > theme > customize> click on FRONT on the blue side panel. From there it has the Static Page or Latest Post option… click Status Page. the drop down will be of all your pages and then you can choose which page you want to use.
