How do I get an email with my domain name?

How do I get an email with my domain name? I have created an account on Mail Chimp, but their directions on how to connect with WordPress are wrong or something. What they say to go to is not there. Can I just get an email address with my domain name ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) from WordPress? That would save a billion steps because all I need is the domain name email. I don’t really need a mailing list. Thanks.

Hi there,
WordPress.com gives two options ->- Email forwarding: which lets you forward mails sent to your domain name email to another of your choice ( more on that at https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-forwarding/) or
- Add email: which lets you add emails directly (more on that at https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-email/)
Either of these two should get you what you want without the mailing list :)
