How do I get an entire post to show on my blog?
-
When I write a new post it only shows part of it on the blog and the reader has to click “continue reading” to see the entire post. I would like the whole post to show up and cannot find a way to make that happen.
thank you!
AmyThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

A truncated post is a feature of the theme you’ve chosen. To show a full post, you will have to select a new theme. I don’t think there is a way to change that default setting.

If you use a theme that automatically displays front page excerpts then here’s the workaround to compel the display of full posts on the front page. Edit the posts and look below the editor box to locate the excerpt module. You can control the length of the excerpt displayed on the front page and the exact excerpt that is displayed there and even force a full post display by using it.
You compose your whole post first and before you publish it you switch to the HTML (Text) editor, copy the code for what you wish to appear, paste it into the Excerpt box below the editor, and publish the post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/excerpts/#creating-excerpts. If you want to create your own excerpt for each post then that will have to be done on every post.

Hi there,
You’re welcome. I’m working like a speed demon today so I can create the time to write some fiction this evening. :) -
