How do I get an image in my post become a link to a larger size?

    I have 2 wordpress sites. In one, I insert an image, and once it is uploaded, I can click on it and it links to the same image in a larger size. I go through the exact same process with my other site, with the same photo, and there is no link to the larger size. Can someone please let me know what I can do to get it to link to a larger version? Thank you.
