How do I get an image to show when I post a link to my blog?
-
I apologize. I had posted below with this question, but I misplaced the link to the string.
With most websites, blogs, etcetera, if I post a link to the site (for instance in a Facebook post or comment), a related image will appear to the left of the link.
When I post a link to my blog, there is something to the left of the link, but it’s just a blank white box that makes it seem nothing is there. There is no image.
I’d like an image to appear in that space whenever I post a link to one of my posts. The same image, that is. Can anyone tell me how to make that happen?
I appreciate any advice you may be able to pass along.

Can anyone help? I’m still wondering how I can get an image to show when I post a link to my blog? That is, for example, if I try on Facebook to post a link to my blog, it works just as it should… except there is no image to the left of the text in the link. How can I get an image (the same image) to come up each time I post a link to a page of my blog?
When I post links to any other website, there is always an image next to the link. Why not with links to my WordPress blog?
Anybody???

Hi there,
For an image to show up when you post a link to your blog, Facebook requires an image that’s at least 200 x 200 pixels. I checked your blavatar (the blog image that you added under Settings > General in your dashboard), and that image is only 192 × 192 pixels. If you want it to appear on Facebook, you can upload a new blavatar that’s at least 200 x 200 pixels in size.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
