How do I get back to carterratcliff.wordpress.com?

I signed up with WordPress years ago and set up a blog named carterratcliff.wordpress.com. I never posted anything, as I remember, but now I would like to start. However, when I log in I am told that I have no blogs–which is fine, except that when I try to set up carterratcliff.wordpress.com I am told that the site already exists. I have reset my password and when I log in with the new password the same thing happens. I really want my blog address to be carterratcliff.wordpress.com but I can’t figure out how to do it. Please help!

carterratcliff.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this blog.I’m sorry but there are no exceptions made; deleted blog URLs here are not recycled.

You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Or you can register a domain vis a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
