How do I get back to my opening page after choosing from a menu item

  I have no way of returning to my opening page once you click on a menu item which are my archived categories .

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there. You’ll want to add a custom link to your home page in your menu by going to your Dashboard in Appearance > Menus.

  Ok…. Thought I knew what I was doing ….went to the menu but obviously I’m not doing something right. Can you walk me through it?
