This is a peer support forum where Volunteers and Staff work cooperatively to deliver WordPress.com support. Volunteers answer most questions and Staff monitor. When Volunteers cannot provide the required support we flag threads for Staff attention.
There is no phone support here. If you have purchased an upgrade then you can contact Staff directly using this link http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ If you have not purchased an upgrade then simply post what you need help with into this thread.

I’m having trouble because I ask questions here, receive a reply via email asking another question, hit the “Reply” button in the email, and then WordPress tells me I must log in. So I log in, and I’m on MY opening page, and the tech response has vanished & I don’t know how to get to it from where I am – I am neither switched to it, nor do I see a link to go there. What clue am I missing?

Hmmm … on the top right hand corner of every forum page you see Welcome ltk01kepner and if you click that link which also appear under your username in forum threads here as a member link you can locate all threads you posted into.

And by posting this, I got back to you, timethief, whom I was trying to answer! I am trying to use the learn wordpress.com tutorial prepared by staff, but my short-term memory isn’t such that I remember what I saw after I leave the tutorial and try to do it on my own. I know, I know, I’m going to buy some book somewhere to help.

There is no book that will help with WordPress.com blogging that I recommend. Most books and videos are aimed at WordPress.org software and they only have small sections, if any at all, on WordPress.com blogging. Using them only causes confusion. The good news is that the link to the learn WordPress.com tutorial is found on the bottom of your Admin pages.
