How do I get blog posts to show up underneath a specific menu tab

I don’t want blog posts to show up all on the main home page. I would like a home page, about page, and then other specific menu tabs that the person can click on to find a specific blog post. IE, if I create a blog post today about a new dessert recipe, I want it to show up under the recipe tab, not the first page/main page/home page. How do I do this? Everytime I create a new blog page or ‘page’, it immediately goes under the main home page.

    Hi,

I would like a home page, about page, and then other specific menu tabs that the person can click on to find a specific blog post.

You may use category pages and a custom menu to provide links to various pages each containing posts only of a certain category.

IE, if I create a blog post today about a new dessert recipe, I want it to show up under the recipe tab, not the first page/main page/home page.

It might be possible to hide selected posts from the homepage with CSS customization. That’s out of my realm. Having a post show up under the “Recipes” tab is simply a matter of properly including links to the corresponding category page in a custom menu. See the relevant links above.

Everytime I create a new blog page or ‘page’, it immediately goes under the main home page.

Did you mean that every new “post” goes into the blog on the home page? That’s the correct behavior when you publish a post. There is only one blog or posts page per blog.
