How do I get cComments to display?

  I am using the Ever After theme and cannot get comments to display. I have worked on this for weeks and have tried everything that was suggested. Once I had them displaying, but when I went to The Commons and came back – POOF – gone. What am I missing?

  Hi Jill.

  I’m able to see the comments form on individual posts on your site. For example, at the bottom here:

  How to hang out the wash without disturbing the birds, or, Lessons from a wonderful neighbor

  It’s worth noting that comments won’t display on your homepage, they’ll only be displayed below individual views of posts.

  Can you let me know if you’re still not seeing comments on your posts? If not, please link me to an example URL where comments are displayed. I’ll then be able to dig in a little deeper.

  I get it. I didn’t realize that you had to click on each post in turn to see the comments. Dumb me – I thought they displayed under the “like” button. Thank you so much for taking the time to work on this. It is much appreciated. Have a great weekend!

  The fact that comments don’t display on the homepage, and that you have to click through to them, is definitely not always obvious at first. I’m glad we were able to chat about it! If there’s any other questions we can help out with, you know where to find us too.
