How do I get Edit on my Pages?
-
I am being regarded as a visitor to my own site, so cannot edit direct from page.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, are you logged in on the account that owns the site? If you are, you should see an “Edit this entry” link below each post.
Are you able to get to your site’s dashboard and edit from here?

Hello
I have been logging into the account that owns the site for quite a long time without experiencing this problem.
“Edit this entry” is no longer appearing.
To get to the site’s dashboard to edit, I have to go to Blog Admin.

That’s quite strange indeed. I’m logged in on your account and I do see the Edit link below your posts:

To rule out a browser-specific issue, could you please try:
- clearing Safari’s cache
- turning off all Safari add-ons or extensions
- viewing your site while logged in on another browser, like Chrome or Firefox
Let me know how it goes.

Also, would you mind taking a screenshot of the entire browser window, on the front end (public side) of your site? I’d particularly like to see what the admin bar looks like, if it’s there at all.
Here’s a guide on how to make a screenshot, if you’re not sure: http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/
You can upload the screenshot in your Media Library so I can see it. Thanks.

You are seeing what I have been seeing for years, but you need to know that I am now being recorded as a Visitor so the Site Stats are a bit disconcerting.
I did reset Safari and I cleared the Safari cache although I’ve never used it.
I’ll have ago at a screen shot – always ready to learn. Cheers.

Sorry.
Back again.
Safari has been repeatedly unable to connect to the Server and it’s getting worse now.
Is this a separate problem?

Thanks very much for the screenshot. It definitely looks like you’re not logged in based on those screenshots, since the grey admin bar at the top is missing.

Once you try logging into your site in a different browser it will help us narrow down where the issue lies.
Let me know how it goes.

Thanks very much. We’re currently investigating a technical issue that appears to be affecting some users. I’ll keep you posted here.
You may want to try accessing your site from another location or ISP (Internet Service Provider) – or through a proxy service – and see if that helps.
