How do I get email notifications from the Daily Post? Specifically Daily Prompt & Photo Challeng

I’m new so please forgive me if I’ve missed something. I’ve looked & looked and cannot find information on getting notified of the Daily Prompt or Photo Challenge. I’m following the Daily Post but I’m not getting notifications from the Daily Post, except comments, which I don’t want (too many!) I’ve checked all of the settings that I can find. Emails are set to ‘instant’ for Daily Post and both post and comment are on. Emails are not blocked. The only way I know what the new Prompt is, is if someone I’m following posts to it (or I go to the DP page). I’m getting emails from WP, so I know it’s not blocked from my email server. Plus I’ve checked my email settings on my server. I feel like I’m not getting all of the information that the DP has to offer. Site is: https://sprawly.wordpress.com/ Thanks for any help!

Ok. No answer on the above issue yet. But now I’ve got a similar problem with notifications on activity in my blog. I’m not getting email notifications about any likes or comments or anything regarding my blog. I get emails from WP, like posts from followed sites (except Daily Prompt or Weekly Photo Challenge), and comments from The Daily Post-Community Pool. So I know WP is not blocked. I’ve spent HOURS trying to figure this out. Everything is checked/unblocked to send emails. I’ve scoured my email server & program several times to be sure nothing was blocked on my end. There are no emails from WP in the server spam folder. At this point I don’t know what else to do. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hey there,
I checked your account and you are following The Daily Post, but the e-mails for new posts option is turned off. You can go to: https://wordpress.com/following/edit and click on The Daily Post site to turn on post e-mail notifications. You e-mail notification for comments are off, so you should no longer be receiving those.

Ugh! I know that was on the last 5 times I checked it. But I think I re-followed the DP so maybe that’s why it was off. I found 800! (mostly DP comments) including your reply, stashed in a folder for my WP email address on another email address (previous one for here) that hadn’t been sent to me. I just don’t understand how 3 or 4 were getting through to me but not all. I don’t know what’s up but I’ll figure it out since it’s on my end. Thanks for your reply and letting me know about the DP emails being off.
