How do I get email notifications of edits?
-
Is there any way to receive email notifications when an administrator, editor, author, or contributor posts a new post or edits a post on your blog?
-
You can sign up for feedburner feeds and get email notifications. The link for Feedburner is http://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/home
You have to set up your blog in there and then activate the email and subscribe yourself. -
Thank you! I have, like, 5 other people as users on my blog (4 administrators, 1 author). Does that mean anytime they do something, like edit a post, I’ll get an email notification?

I’ve already created a Feedburner account and subscribed to my own feed by email notification. Everything should be working. I tested by posting a new post on my blog, but I didn’t receive an email notification! What’s wrong?

The email subscriptions only come out once a day. It’s not every time a post is made (unless I missed a configuration somewhere).

Okay, thanks! But I’ve set a time for 9am-11am -10 Hawaii. I didn’t receive an email this morning.

I might’ve posted a new post after I subscribed on my blog, though. So it’ll come tomorrow morning.
