How do I get Google Analytics for my WordPress

    Hello,

    We are trying to implement Google Analytics into the site, so we can get richer data around our visitors in terms of who they are and how they interact with the website.

    We recently upgraded so that we could get access to plugins, but that doesn’t seem to have done the trick.

    Please could you drop us a short email explaining how to get Google Analytics for the WordPress site.

    Hi there,

    WordPress.com does not currently support Google Analytics tracking, even with the Premium upgrade. However we do offer built-in statistics showing you most of the same types of information as Google Analytics would display.

    In case you’re not aware, you can view your site’s stats by clicking the stats link in the grey admin bar at the top of your site. To find out more about how stats are measured and reported, see the following help page.

    You can also install Google Webmaster Tools, which contains some of the same functions as Google Analytics:
