How do I get into my dashboard I haven't accessed in 3 years?

  • Unknown's avatar

I have a blog I haven’t accessed in three years. I’ve tried a couple times but didn’t care too much when I was having troubles. Now I need to get in. I can’t find the original e-mails sent to me by WordPress on how to get into my dashboard. When I’m logged in (to post this question) it says I have no blogs. But my blog is still visible on the internet.

As a side note…..someone is e-mailing me through my blog and I would like to know if I can block their e-mails? (this is why I need to get in)

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Since you are getting email from the blog – this is good – go the the blog (while logged out of WordPress.COM) – on the login page there is a “Lost Password” option – use that and you should be able to put in the email address the blog is sending to and get a new password sent to you – see below for more help if that does not work

If the blog does not have a log in page link you can add the following line to the blog address to get a log in screen

    wp-login.php

    Lost Password

    https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

    Account Recovery Page

    https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
