How do I get into my new blog to set it up?

Add topic to favorites
I just registered a blog with my new account but I can’t seem to find the dashboard and when I navigated to the wp-admin page it said I was not an administrator of my own blog. Also, when I log in there is no My Blogs tab, but the blog, which is the same name as my account and is therefore reserved for me anyway, is not available to register any more.

There’s definitely something wrong with that blog. I’ll flag this so staff can look at it.

Thanks for posting this, and I’m really sorry for the hassle. I want to help you get up and running as soon as possible.

This looks like a unique occurrence where your username didn’t get added to the blog when you signed up, and we’re looking into getting this fixed for all affected blogs (yours included).

I don’t have a time frame, but I’ll be sure to let you know when I hear back from our developers.

Thanks! I was all fired up and creative when I started today but I’m sure I’ll manage to do it again once the blog is working.

We’ve fixed your blog, and you can navigate to your blog dashboard from my My Blogs tab on the WordPress.com home page, or the main menu (top right) in the admin bar.
