How do I get more people to view and comment on my blog?

  I recently started a blog site here and I noticed I only got 2 comments on 8 blogs.. purpose of my blog is to network with others on health issues… anyway…. i am also writing for the sake of expressing myself and getting information out there, however I am wondering if there are tricks to getting more people to visit and comment on your blogs. If so, can you share them?? Thanks! ;)

  Please do a search of the forum; there are hundreds of suggestions already here, including at least one other thread on the front page of the forum right now.
